My Books — My Children
My Books — My Children
Throughout my journey as a writer, I have published eighteen books, born of different moments, experiences, and profound dives into existence.
In building a body of work marked by poetry, reflection, and the courage to look within myself, I have continued, ever since, along the paths of writing.
Each book holds a part of my gaze upon the world, upon the human being, and upon the paths we travel within ourselves.
Here, my books are gathered across their different editions and moments, so that you may come to know a little more of my literary journey.

Some books offer answers. Others have the courage to ask the
questions capable of transforming a life.
Fronteiras, Mergulhos e Reflexões was born from a real journey.
Over the course of decades of searching, pain, discoveries, and rebuilding,
Wanda Alves shares the experience of someone who, later in life,
found a new understanding of herself after discovering her Autism and ADHD,
revisiting her own history in a new light.
Without assuming the role of a specialist, the author writes from lived experience.
Far from offering ready-made formulas, this work brings together experiences,
questions, and discoveries shaped over years of psychotherapy, psychoanalysis,
and profound contact with the inner world.
With depth and honesty, the author invites
the reader to reflect on mental health,
neurodivergence, psychotherapy, psychoanalysis,
spirituality free from dogma,
ancestry, ecology, sustainability, human relationships,
and the ongoing process of becoming who we are.
Interweaving reflections on family with the wisdom of Indigenous peoples,
she honors the influence of Portuguese, Indigenous,
and African roots in her own history, broadening the perspective toward
the richness of human diversity and the sense of belonging
that emerges when we understand our roots.
The author also addresses her experience of depression,
panic disorder, generalized anxiety, and eating disorders.
This book invites us to reflect on our responsibility in building a
more conscious and more humane world.
Poems breathe between the texts, bringing lightness to the
depth of the writing as a whole.
The work is composed of short, independent chapters.
The reader may move through it from beginning to end,
or open to any page at random and find a reflection capable
of speaking to the moment they are living.
This is not simply a book about Autism.
Nor is it merely an autobiography.
It was born from a long search for understanding, inclusion, and inner peace.
It is a work about awareness.
About courage. About vulnerability.
About the delicate art of integrating mind, emotions,
and sensitivity into a more whole existence.
Here, words become shelter for those who have ever felt displaced,
misunderstood, or on the margins.
Each page makes room for respect for differences, for listening to oneself,
and for a life lived with greater presence, compassion, and authenticity.
Because being different is not a flaw in the system.
It is a rare language.
And here, that language is honored on every page.
Those who read may recognize themselves.
Those who feel may discover new paths.
May this book be a seed for voices still searching for their own language,
for stories longing to exist with dignity,
and for hearts that continue to believe in the
possibility of transformation.
